No, you can book an appointment directly. However, if you wish to claim Medicare rebates under a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), you will need a referral from your GP or psychiatrist.

Are your services covered by Medicare or private health insurance?

Yes. With a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you can claim Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year (rebate as of July 2025 is $145.25). Many private health funds also provide rebates, depending on your level of cover.

How long are therapy sessions?

Standard therapy sessions are approximately 50 minutes. ADHD assessments involve multiple sessions and vary in length depending on the assessment requirements.

What is the cost of a session?

Fees vary depending on the service. Medicare rebates or private health insurance may reduce your out-of-pocket cost. Please contact me directly for the current fee schedule.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book an appointment by phone, email, or via my online enquiry form. I will provide all the details you need before your first session.

Do you offer Telehealth sessions?

Yes. I provide telehealth therapy sessions via secure video conferencing, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort of your home anywhere in Australia.

What should I expect in my first session?

In your first session, I will discuss your concerns, gather background information, and work with you to create a tailored plan for therapy. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and ensure you feel comfortable moving forward.
