About My Writing Process

Human expertise. AI assisted.

All content, ideas, psychological insights, observations about the human condition, and occasional bad jokes originate with me - Penelope Lovegrove, Clinical Psychologist.

More recently, artificial intelligence has provided editorial support, helping organise ideas, improve readability, wrangle the commas, and occasionally suggest that perhaps not every sentence requires three dashes. I don’t always use it and any earlier writing has not had the luxury of such editing as I am sure you can tell! It also serves as a useful brake on my fast-paced neurodiverse brain when too many thoughts are trying to leave at once.

While AI may assist with drafting and editing, all content is reviewed, refined, and approved by me at the time of publication. In other words, the psychology is human; the proofreading occasionally has a silicon flavour.
